The author speaks about the influence that the occitan people had in the valencian conquest(XIII century),which has been never considerated before by the historians. Jaume I had the help of his friends and relatives, and specialy of his oncle Bernat d'Entença, coming from Montpelhièr, his birth place. Occitan people were those who arbitrate when catalans and aragonaises had problems, quarrels and other fights.

COMENTARIS A "RETROBEM LA MEMÒRIA: RIURAU", DE LLUÍS FORNÉS

Al nostre apartat, de recuperació de les idees expressades pels nostres avantpassats, portem hui un article publicat al número 80 d'El Camí, any II, de 16 de setembre de 1933, pàgina 6, en el qual Nicolau de Sueca, o siga Nicolau Primitiu, publica en De paleulingüística "Riurau". Va dedicat a "N'Alfred Baeschlin, coralment". Al nostre llibre La Valéncia occitana vàrem exposar la teoria que la procedència del mot riurau, encara no aclarida suficientment, podia estar en la llengua d'Oc comuna. Enteníem, y entenem, que riurau pot ser l'adjectiu provençal rurau, rural, que es va substantivar. Nicolau Primitiu exposa una altra idea, però, curiosament, també recorda que hi ha llengues germanes que funcionen vocalitzant la consonant lateral. Y diu clarament que s'ha d'escriure riurau (com es pronuncia) y no riu-rau, com alguns teòrics poc acurats han intentat fer-nos engolir els darrers anys. Vegem la proposta d'en Nicolau.

COMENTARIS A "PLAERDEMAVIDA ENTRE ELS TROBADORS I LA CELESTINA", DE LLUÍS FORNÉS

Plaerdemavida is a character very well blended by Joanot Martorell. She is the central strength which bring the lovers, Tirant and Carmesina, to consume the love. And this is so, because as soon as they finish making love she drops out of sight. Dorothy Severin exposes a very interesting idea about La Celestina. She says that there is a sexual behaviour wich can be said a lesbic one. Following this idea, in Plaerdemavida we also found lesbic behaviours, ménage a trois and voyerisme. The character uses the language perfectly. It depends on the situation.When she is a servant of Carmesina she speaks with some superficiality; ironic and amusing words came to her lips. But when she is a lady in Montàgata, she speaks with softness and in a barroc style. Plaerdemavida, -and the whole Tirant lo Blanc- is situated between the Troubadours and Spanish cultures.

Comentaris a “Tradició lliterària, identitat y model de llengua pròpia en Valéncia?” d’Àngel V. Calpe.

The author points out that there has been a long specifically Valencian literary tradition that has shaped the cultural identity of the Valencian people. It is reported that current problems of identity and about the language of Valencians come from losing this tradition, that has been regarded by some scholars as low in quality because of the model of language in which it was written.

In fact, this anomalous situation is related to the attempts of Catalan linguistic planning to deny literary status to the Valencian language. Admitting that the modern Catalan language is mainly based on the dialect spoken in Barcelona, all literature written outside that model of language is considered dialectal and inaccurate for usual reading, teaching or learning. The attempts to form a substandard variety of the Catalan language for the use of Valencian people has caused many distortions in the confidence and linguistic identity of its users.

The need of a specific codification for the Valencian language connected with its own literary tradition and the current speech of its users, whithin the framework of the Occitano-Romance diasystem, is established as essential for a good and positive language planning in Valencia and for overcoming the current linguistic conflict among the users of this language.

Comentaris a "Una forma comuna de tota la lenga d'Oc" de Miquèu Audoier

Audoier says that just one norm for the Occitan-romance diasystem, or Oc language, will be better than the situacion we have at present, because, with only one standard will be easier to avoid the influences of the Spanish and French languages. He also says that this standard will be better for Gascons, and calls everybody to begin the commun work.

Comentaris a "Occità, català i gascó: punts de contacte." de Jacques Allières.

The autor closes his work with the sentence "a gascon can understand, better then other people, a catalan, and, perhaps, much better a valencian". The article shows the relation of the gascon language with the south Pyrenean area.
